Can I list my West Michigan home on MichRIC for a flat fee?

Yes. I input your listing directly on MichRIC — the same MLS system West Michigan agents use. That includes Grand Rapids, Kalamazoo, and the lakeshore.

Is this different from a traditional Grand Rapids listing agent?

NO! It’s the same MLS listing you’d get with a traditional Realtor, but you can save thousands of dollars of your equity. You get the same MLS exposure and nationwide syndication, but you pay a flat fee instead of a percentage-based listing commission.

You can still sell by owner and avoid a buyer’s agent commission. If a buyer’s agent brings the buyer, they will typically expect compensation, usually 2–3%, which can be negotiated when the offer comes in.

How fast does the listing go live?

Most listings are input and live on MichRIC within 24 hours after we receive your paperwork and photos.

Does the listing show up on Zillow and Realtor.com?
